Drive around the famous Ringstrasse, the main boulevard with its magnificent buildings the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Austrian Parliament building, the Burgtheater (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University. Continue totheSchonbrunn Palace, the former residence of the Habsburgs and tour some of the magnificently decorated rooms.
Vienna, Austria This day is at leisure to explore the city or visit Salzburg. You can opt to take this full day trip to the beautiful 'Salzkammergut', lake district or opt for for a guided walking tour of the city.
Vienna - Budapest
Budapest, Hungary Today transfer to the train station in Vienna for your journey to Budapest, the Pearl of the Danube and often described as the "Little Paris of Middle Europe". Travel from Vienna to Budapest. On arrival in Budapest, check in to the hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore the city or take an optional dinner cruise on the Danube.
